Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspection

Inspections can be done in MD, VA, GA, and all Federal locations. We perform them in accordance with the National Board Inspection Code (NBIC), the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.

National Board Inspection Code Repair and Alteration Certifications

Includes Life Expectancy Surveys and Quality Assurance Inspections utilizing ultrasonic and dye penetrant Non-Destructive examinations of boilers and pressure vessels.

Structural Welding Inspection

Performed on bridges and pipelines utilizing visual, ultrasonic and dye penetrant examinations but also have the ability to do mag-particle, shear wave and radiographic examinations.

Non-Destruction Examination

MAC Inspection & Welding Agency can perform informational Liquid Dye Penetrant & Ultrasonic Examinations to boilers and pressure vessel equipment.Liquid Dye Penetrant Test can determine if metal objects such as tube sheet ligaments, fire tube safe ends, pressure vessel shells and heads have cracks. Also, highly effective to determine if a welder’s weld (root or final) has any cracks.

“Michael was very professional and performed the inspections in a timely manner. The customer was very impressed with his knowledge of the codes and in the way he conducted the inspections. His written reports were very helpful in enabling Greenland to close out this project. Greenland has since contracted with MAC Inspection to perform the boiler inspections at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Wilkes-Barre, PA. I would highly recommend using MAC Inspections to anyone in need of this type of service.”
